You have a high sensitivity mass spectrometer. Why not utilize its full sensitivity range and have absolute confidence that your data has not been compromised by sample carryover?
Do your blank injections show carryover similar to 0.16% of the prior sample concentration? Do your blank injections look like this?
| 1000 ng Sample | Run 115 |

| Blank Injection After Rinse | Run 116 |

Run 115 is a 1000ng injection of Alprazolam made using a popular LC/MS autosampler. Run 116 is a blank injection made immediately after the popular autosampler had finished its optimum rinsing process. The carryover of 0.16% shown in the blank injection is calculated using peak heights.
If you are interested in reducing carryover to non-detectable levels over the full detector response range, eliminating blanks between runs for reducing carryover, and improved data integrity, then you will want to learn more about our 719D autosampler. Using the same sample and analysis conditions as above, our 719D autosampler reduced carryover to non-detectable levels.
